Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026 · SparkU Solutions LLC
SparkU Solutions LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates Fault Fixer AI at faultfixer.ai. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you use the service, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. By using Fault Fixer AI, you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Account information
When you register, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. If you sign in via Google OAuth, we receive your name and email from Google.
Equipment and asset data
When you create equipment assets in the app, we store the asset names, descriptions, and any other details you provide about your equipment.
Uploaded documents
When you upload wiring diagrams, schematics, or other technical documents, those files are stored on your behalf. Uploaded documents are associated with your account and the relevant equipment asset.
Chat and session history
The messages, questions, and responses from your diagnostic sessions with Rob are stored and linked to the relevant equipment asset and your account.
Usage analytics
We collect anonymized usage data such as page views, feature interactions, and session duration to understand how the product is being used and where to improve it.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details. We receive transaction metadata from Stripe (such as purchase history and billing dates) to manage your account.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate your sessions;
- To provide the diagnostic service — including enabling Rob to reference your uploaded documents during sessions;
- To store your fault history and asset data so it persists between sessions;
- To improve the accuracy and quality of Rob's diagnostic guidance;
- To process payments and manage billing;
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, billing notifications);
- To analyze how the service is used and identify areas for improvement.
We do not sell your data.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or uploaded documents to any third party for marketing or commercial purposes.
3. Your Uploaded Documents
Wiring diagrams, schematics, and other files you upload are stored securely. Your documents are:
- Stored under your account and not accessible to other users or companies;
- Used only to power your own diagnostic sessions with Rob;
- Not shared with other Fault Fixer AI users or used to train shared AI models without your consent;
- Deleted when you delete the associated asset or request account deletion.
4. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services to operate Fault Fixer AI. Each is bound by data processing agreements consistent with this Privacy Policy.
AI Processing Services
Fault Fixer AI uses third-party AI services to power Rob's diagnostic responses. Your messages and relevant document context are transmitted to these services to generate responses. We may use different or additional AI providers as the technology evolves. Any provider we use is contractually bound to handle your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Document Processing Services
Uploaded files are processed by third-party services to extract and index their content, making them accessible to Rob during your diagnostic sessions.
Supabase
Database and authentication — account data, asset data, and session history are stored in a Supabase PostgreSQL database.
Stripe
Payment processing — billing and payment management. Stripe handles all card data directly and we do not have access to your raw payment details.
PostHog
Usage analytics — anonymized product usage data to help us understand feature adoption and improve the service.
Resend
Transactional email — account and billing notification emails are delivered via Resend.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data, uploaded documents, asset data, and session history for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your data within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain records.
6. Your Rights
You may:
- Access, update, or correct your account information through the app settings;
- Delete individual assets and their associated documents within the app;
- Request full account and data deletion by contacting us at support@faultfixer.ai;
- Opt out of non-essential marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any such email.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.
If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@faultfixer.ai.
8. Children's Privacy
Fault Fixer AI is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
